This week we are going to talk about the services campuses offer to help students enjoy fitness on campus. Almost every campus offers fitness programs for their students to part take in to help encourage them to stay physically fit. For this post, I am going to focus on Stevenson University specifically but look into your college's programs and see what they offer.

Stevenson offers a wide variety of workout programs for students to take advantage of. Some of the workout programs Stevenson offers are Yoga, Zumba, and H.I.I.T. just to name a few. Let’s take a look at these programs and see how they can benefit you.

Workout Programs 


When people think of Yoga, they don’t think of the strong benefits it has on the body. Yoga can do so many great things for your body. Let’s take a look at the benefits.

Benefits of Yoga:
·      Helps increase your flexibility.
·      Increases your cardiovascular health.
·      Helps when perusing weight loss.
·      Positively affects your mental health.

What if you are looking for something a little more intense and have more fat burning results? Try a Zumba class. Zumba is a lot more intense compared to yoga but is still a fun workout. Zumba is a mix of dancing and exercise.

Zumba is a great workout for anyone looking to try something new in their workout plan. It’s something fun you can go out a do yourself or with a group of friends. But what are the benefits of Zumba?

Benefits of Zumba:
·      It’s a very good workout for weight loss.
·      Helps increase your coordination skills.
·      Very high pace.
·      It’s also just a fun way to workout.

Some people want something more intense. This is where the H.I.I.T. comes in. The H.I.I.T. program is a high-intensity workout plan that is very quick and does not take long. Let’s take a look at some of the benefits of H.I.I.T. workouts.

Benefits of H.I.I.T.:
·      Bruns calories very fast.
·      Quick workouts that take less than 1 hour.
·      Helps increase weight loss.
·      Good for people with very busy schedules.
·      Good for cardiovascular health.
